This Service / Import Administration role is a jack of all trades! It encompasses, procurement, stock management, import, and general customer service!
Our client is a well-established distributor of high-quality bathroom ware across New Zealand. Having been in business for over 30 years they are well established in the merchant network and are steadily growing year on year.
Due to relocation, they are seeking a Logistics and Customer Service Coordinator to join their long-standing and well-established team.
Responsibilities:
Raise all procurement orders with international suppliers/manufacturers.
Liaising with International Suppliers on pricing/availability/production/import requirements.
Maintain and plan forward orders.
Maintain Order Portfolio for each shipment.
Monitor all shipping availability.
Consult with shippers to ensure all requirements are met.
Manage deposit payments & shipment payments.
Work with the Warehouse Manager to plan devanning & inventory requirements.
Manage customer credit claims process.
Requirements:
Strong customer service and administration skills that talk to inventory, credit & procurement.
A clear understanding of procurement/warehousing processes.
Minimum of 5 years experience in a stock-orientated administration role.
Previous experience in shipping/import or transportation is desirable.
A great sense of humour and willingness to work as a part of this vibrant team.
